You Said What? is the party storytelling game that guarantees laughter and chaos. Gather 2–20 players, pick a theme and genre, and take turns recording your lines. Each player is given random words (and sometimes a twist!) to weave into the story. At the end, the app stitches everyone’s recordings together into one unpredictable adventure—with a transcript you can read and share.
Choose Classic Mode to plan your sentence and re-record if you like, or unleash Chaos Mode for rapid-fire storytelling where the timer never stops!

No, but it is super good value. — Best of all, there are no ads, no subscriptions, just a one off super low price AND tonnes of fun. We do have plans to sell different themes as in-app purchases in the future. But they are 100% optional.
Nope! You Said What? is completely private and does not collect or store any user data. What’s in the game, stays in the game.
You Said What? is a party storytelling game for 2–8 players. Each player is given one or more random words (and sometimes a twist) and has a short time to record a sentence that fits into the ongoing story. Once everyone has had their turns, the app stitches the recordings together so you can listen back to the unpredictable tale you’ve just created.
There are two ways to play:

Classic Mode – Take your turn, see your words and twist, then record your sentence. You’ll have time to think, and you can even re-record if you want a better take.

Chaos Mode – A rapid-fire version where you get 10 seconds, no redo, no pause. The timer never stops, so you have to think fast and go with the flow!
At the end of every game, you can save your story, share it with friends, or read the automatically generated transcript.
The only real “rule” is: use the words you’re given, keep it fun, and let the chaos unfold!
